TOKONI
Empowering
Pacific Islanders
We bridge the gap between heritage and modern life in Oregon, providing vital resources and cultural support for our Pacific Islander neighbors.
OUR ROOTS
Preserving Heritage, Building Community
Tokoni was founded on a simple yet profound belief: that every Pacific Islander in Oregon deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. We began as a small collective of Tongans and other Pacific Islanders, driven by the desire to bridge the gap between our rich cultural heritage and the modern challenges of our new home.
Our journey has been defined by a commitment to education and resource sharing. We provide a safe space for cultural exchange, offering workshops on traditional crafts, language preservation, and mental health resources tailored specifically to our community's unique needs.
Today, we stand as a vibrant hub of connection, dedicated to empowering the next generation of Pacific Islanders in Oregon. Through our events and educational programs, we foster a sense of belonging that honors our past while building a bright future together.
